ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 schedule

The Champions Trophy 2025 schedule is announced by ICC on Tuesday. The tournament will organize 15 games among the top 8 teams of the world from 19 February to 9 March. Which is divided into two groups.

After eight years, the 2025 Champions trophy is fully ready to return. In 2017, Pakistan won this trophy after defeating India by a huge margin in the final. Pakistan has the great opportunity to defend their title in their home conditions.

The opener of the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy is between the host Pakistan and New Zealand. After 29 year of gap, Pakistan will organize any ICC event since the 1996 World Cup.

In this tournament, only 8 teams are allowed to participate according to their ODI rankings in recent times. In 2025, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England, India and Bangladesh will qualify as the hosts. But Afghanistan made the wild card entry because it was the first time they would play Champion Trophy.

ICC distributed Champions Trophy matches to 4 stadiums. Three Venues in Pakistan while choosing Dubai as a hybrid venue for team India. In Pakistan, the National Stadium, Gaddafi Stadium and Pindi Stadium will manage the tournament

According to the fixtures, The first match is held on 19 February between the host Pakistan and Kiwis. This tournament is fully fixtured in a round-robin format. In a Group stage, each team plays 3 matches. The top 2 teams in both groups will move to the Semi-finals.

The Semi-finals will be hosted in Dubai and Lahore. The Venue for the final on the 9 March 2025 is not confirmed yet it will depend upon India’s qualification scenario. If they are able to play the final, then the game will be hosted in Dubai, otherwise, it will held in Lahore.

Note:

According to Pakistan Standard Time, all the matches started at 2 PM.
The reserve day will be available for the Final game only.

Champions Trophy 2025 India Schedule

India will play all their matches at Dubai International Stadium. Their first game is against Bangladesh, and their last group match is against New Zealand. But there big clash with their arch-rivals Pakistan has decided to play on Sunday 23 February.
