SA20 is a Twenty20 franchise league started by the South African Cricket Board in 2023 to promote the game and provide a chance to youngsters. The main reason for starting this tournament to compete worldwide in the T20 format. The opening edition of this event was held in 2023.
According to the schedule, SA20 2025 will begin on 9 January and end on 8 February 2025. In the third season of the SA20 league six teams are participated. In the inaugural match, two-time champions Sunrises Eastern Cape will face off against MI Cape Town at Port Elizabeth.
SA20 2025 Schedule
In this tournament, 6 franchises compete with each other at 6 different venues. Each team plays 10 matches and then the top 4 teams in the Points Table will move forward in the playoffs. The 2025 SA20 final will be hosted on 8 February in Johannesburg.
