The left-hander opening batsman of Pakistan has been ruled out from the ongoing Champions trophy. In the first match of the 2025 Champions trophy, Fakhar faced an injury while trying to stop the ball from reaching the boundary line.

Imam-ul-Haq announced as a Replacement

After the clear inquiry of the International Cricket Council, Pakistan revealed Imam-as a substitution for Fakhar Zaman in the champions trophy. Imam-ul-Haq played his ODI for Pakistan in 2023.
