The T20 World Cup is to be played in Sri Lanka and India next year. Out of 20, 15 cricketing nations have confirmed their place in the 2026 T20 World Cup. Recently, Italy made their name for the first time in the 20-over World Cup.
Qualified Teams
Sri Lanka and India have already booked their spots as a co-host. Meanwhile, USA, Australia, England, Afghanistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and South Africa finalized their participation by reaching the Super8 in the 2024 edition. Ireland, Pakistan and New Zealand are qualified due to their shorter format team rankings.
From the Qualifiers Cup, Canada secured their spot again in the ICC tournament. Italy and Holland have joined the list of teams for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Five more positions are available for the teams, two for African sides and three for Asia-East Asia Pacific countries.

African Qualifiers
Zimbabwe will host the African Qualifiers from 19 September to 4 October among 8 nations. The top 2 sides will make their way to Asia for the World Cup.
EAP Qualifiers
Oman will host the EAP Qualifiers from 8 to 17 October among 9 nations. The top 3 teams will make their way to Sri Lanka & India in 2026.
