The upcoming India vs England clash in test cricket is nominated as the Anderson Tendulkar Trophy. The Cricket Boards of both sides agreed to honour the Ex cricketers. They applied the trend such as the Crowe-Thrope Trophy and BGT.

Sachin Tendulkar and Anderson will introduce the trophy of the 5-match series at the Test Championship final. The Test Championship final will kick off on 11 June at Lord’s. Team India will start their WTC 2025-27 journey on 20 June.

In the past, the England and India series in English summer was called the Pataudi Trophy. It was labelled in honour of the former player Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi. His boy Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi also appeared for India.

While on Indian pitches, India and England are competing for the Anthony de Mello Trophy. This cup was nominated in honour of the former BCCI President, Who played a key role in establishing the Indian Cricket Board. It is not yet certain that the future series in India will be named the Tendulkar Anderson Trophy.

Both are the greatest player of their nation in the longer format. Sachin, in his long career, holds the achievement of being the leading run scorer in tests. Jimmy Anderson has the most number of wickets in his pocket for the English side.
