In the morning, Virat said in his post, “For 14 years he was worn the blue cap in test format. He never expected that his red ball career would be so respectful.” He said this format tested him, transformed him, and taught him lessons for life.
It was very emotional to appear in the test cricket. In 5 days many moments become a memory for life. It is difficult for me to retire from test cricket. But, I feel it is the best time. I tried my best every time that was in my potential.
He further said; I am resigning this format with full of thanks to the sports, to my collogues and to everyone who supported me in my journey. Whenever I overview my test journey, I will be happy.
