In the history of the Pakistan Super League, Wahab Riaz had the most wickets in the PSL. He finished his league career in 2023. Wahab from the beginning of PSL represents Peshawar. While showing his abilities for Peshawar in 8 seasons he took 113 wickets.

1-Hasan Ali
In 2016 Peshawar gave a chance to Hasan Ali. But he was in a lineup that already has experience with stuff like Wahab or Darren Sammy. So, he got a few chances in that edition.
But he showcases his capability freely in the 2017 season. He picked 12 wickets in 10 innings and 2 dismissals in the final to make a comfortable win. His performance made him a permanent part of the Zalmi’s. In 2019, Hasan was awarded as a bowler of the tournament for taking 25 wickets.
After representing Zalmi in the first 5 editions, Peshawar traded him with Islamabad United. Then he represented Islamabad in PSL 6, 7 & 8. For Islamabad, he takes 35 wickets in a tenure of 3 years.
In the 2024 season, he joins Karachi Kings. In PSL 9 he dismisses 14 players in 10 matches. In a career of 9 seasons, he played 82 matches for 3 different franchises and picked 116 wickets.
2-Wahab Riaz
When the Pakistan Super League was introduced in 2016, the Javed Afridi franchise Peshawar Zalmi picked Wahab Riaz from the draft. In the inaugural season, he is the 2nd highest wicket-taker.
In PSL 2, Wahab was the 2nd most wicket-taker and became a champion. In 2018, Peshawar finished their campaign as a runner but the left-arm pacer was the joint top wicket-taker. The 2021 edition is one of the finest editions he dismisses 18 players in 12 games.
In his last presence for the Zalmi, he took 10 wickets and remains the leading wicket-taker for their team. He played 88 matches in his PSL career. His best figures was 4 for 17.
3-Shaheen Shah Afridi
A 17-year-old boy from Landi Kotal in 2018 made his debut from Lahore Qalandars. Shaheen in his opening edition catches everyone’s attention with his inswing delivers. In the same season, he achieved his first 5 wicket haul against Multan Sultans by just giving 4 runs.
In Pakistan Super League Afridi has been awarded with Fazal Mahmood cap 2 times. Once in 2020 and then also took the most wickets in PSL 2022. In PSL 8, Afridi led as a 2nd highest wicket-taker after dismissing 19 batsmen.
Even in the PSL 9, he finished with 14 wickets in 9 matches. In 7 seasons he represented Lahore in 71 games and picked 103 wickets. Not with his bowling, Shaheen also put his franchise on top twice in 3 editions as a captain.
4-Shadab Khan
Shadab Khan was chosen by Islamabad United as an all-rounder in PSL 2017. He takes 9 wickets in his first edition in 8 matches. In 2019 Islamabad promoted him as a captain. In 2022, he is the joint leading wicket taker with Shaheen Afridi.
In Pakistan Super League 2023, he was the 2nd highest wicket-taker in his team. With his lethal spin quality, he keeps himself as the top wicket-taker spinner in PSL. In season 9, he played 12 matches and dismissed 14 batsmen.
He picks 91 wickets in 84 innings with an average of 7.68. From PSL 4 he led his team as a captain and registered as champions in 2024.
5-Faheem Ashraf
In PSL 2018 Faheem is picked as a fast bowling all-rounder by Islamabad. He is a wicket-taking bowler from the start due to his enriched variations. In his debut edition, He becomes the best bowler of the season.
In edition 4, Faheem take the highest number of wickets for Islamabad. He did 6 dismissals after giving only 19 runs which was the best spell in PSL history. He took 78 wickets in 72 games for United. Furthermore, he also delivered for his team with the bat in many games.
