The state-level t20 franchise league MPL is associated with Maharashtra cricket. They introduced the tournament in 2009 for the first time. Till the end of 2024, the Maharashtra Association successfully organised its 5 seasons. All the matches are held at MCA Pune Stadium.
Six teams participated in the MPL 2023 and 2024. Ratnagiri Jets are the champions of the 2023, and 2024 MPL seasons, While Puneri Bappa, Raigad Royals, CSK, Eagle Nasik Titans and Kolhapur Tuskers.
Its format is arranged the same as the Indian Premier League. Every franchise faced off each other twice times, And the top 4 on the points table will go for the playoffs.
