The Proteas are ready to encounter Aussies at Lord’s in the WTC final 2025. Before the World Test Championship final, South Africa will play a 4-day match against their neighbour Zimbabwe. Both teams will be in action from June 3 to 6 in Sussex.
The purpose of a 4-day game ahead of the big game is to make Proteas used to the longer format. South Africa played their last series in Whites in January against Pakistan on their home soil. South Africa takes on Australia in the WTC final from June 11-15.
After a historic test match with England. Zimbabwe’s major names like Muzarabani, Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarava are on the rest. It is also a preparation game for Zimbabwe before their next home series against South Africa.
