The Indian Cricket Board released the WPL 2025 schedule on Thursday. The third season of the women’s league begins on February 14 at Vadodara, where defending champions Bengaluru clash with the Gujrat Giants.
The women’s premier league is schedule in four legs at different venues. The first six matches will be hosted at BCA stadium, Vadodara. Then, the event shifts to Bangalore for eight games. Lucknow gets a chance to organize a WPL match for the first time. Mumbai then manages it in the finishing phase.
Like the first two editions, this season also follows the double round-robin format, in which each team faces off against the other twice. The top finisher in the points table will be directly eligible for the 2025 WPL final, while the second or third-place team will compete in the eliminator for the final place.
A total of 5 franchises participate in the Women’s Premier League 2025. Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujrat Giants, and UP Warriorz. The final of WPL will be played in Mumbai on 15 March.
