4 Youngsters from PSL 2025 Who can be the Future of Pakistan

Pakistan Super League is the right way for the youngsters towards the international cricket. In every season it introduced many shortest-format star players to Pakistan cricket. Players like Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris and Shadab Khan were established through PSL.

 

In 2025, again PSL points out some new kids who can be the future of Pakistan cricket. Some players got less opportunities like Yasir Khan, Maaz Sadaqat and Khawaja Nafay. But we will discuss the following stars who played more matches and continuously justify themselves.

1-Ubaid Shah

 

The youngest Shah brother grap the attention in the U-19 World Cup 2024. His bro franchise United picked him in PSL 9. He made his debut against Lahore Qalandars. But in his first edition, he can’t perform and is back to the bench after a few games.

 

In PSL 10, he was selected by Multan Sultans in the draft. For Sultans, he appeared in 9 matches and dismissed 12 batters. He is the highest wicket-taker for Sultans in 2025. He showed his talent, But still, his team finished at the bottom of the table.

 

2-Mohammad Naeem

 

The star born in the FATA region, made his strong mark in the first season of PSL. The opener of the PSL 2025 winner franchise made his debut against Islamabad. In the first few games, he failed to charge against the opposition but still Afridi backs him.

 

The unsung hero of the final scored 314 runs with 3 fifties over a strike rate of 162 in 12 innings. In his debut edition of the Pakistan Super League, he delivered 23 sixes. He became the only batter to hit six maximums in the PSL final.

 

3-Ali Raza

 

The young tall guy from Nankana Sahib made his debut in PSL after outstanding performances in the U-19 team. The 17-year-old blood played his first match against Quetta. At the start of the season, he was struggling to catch his bowling rhythm.

 

Ali Raza showed his capabilities in a clash with Multan, Where he picked 4 wickets after conceding 21 runs only. In 9 matches with his expressive pace, he took 12 wickets. Many Ex-cricketers praised his bowling skills in the first season.

 

4-Hasan Nawaz

 

The boy was brought up in a village near Layyah City. Where there are no international-level cricket facilities, he impressed the Islamabad management due to his 2022 KPL stats. He represented IU in 2023 But scored only 28 runs in 3 innings.

 

In 2025, he was picked by Quetta Gladiators who gave him an open chance. In 12 matches, He scored 399 runs for the 2025 runners-up franchise. He smashed 28 sixes which is the second most in a single edition. His best score was 100* in PSL 2025.
